Limerick’s WrxFlo Secures €3M to Expand AI-Powered Manufacturing Software in US and UK

Irish industrial software innovator WrxFlo has raised €3 million in new funding to supercharge its global expansion.

The investment round was led by Elkstone, with continued support from existing backers Furthr VC, Enterprise Ireland, and several prominent angel investors. The fresh capital injection will primarily fund WrxFlo’s aggressive push into the UK and United States markets, accelerate the capabilities of its AI-driven Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, and fuel a hiring blitz to scale its team from 60 to 200 employees by 2028.

From Isolated Insights to Intelligence Everywhere

Founded in Limerick in 2019 by former Dell manufacturing executives Tim Crowe (CEO), Ken Sheehan (CTO), and Jennifer Kelly (COO), WrxFlo was built to solve a universal pain point in supply chain management.

Traditional manufacturing and logistics hubs often rely on disconnected legacy systems, fragmented spreadsheets, and slow manual processes. WrxFlo replaces this operational clutter with a single, connected digital platform. By introducing an AI-powered digital co-worker, the platform enables teams to:

  • Eliminate waste across production lines.

  • Anticipate logistical risks before they disrupt operations.

  • Make rapid, data-backed decisions using real-time insights.

“We’ve walked in the shoes of our customers,” says Tim Crowe, co-founder and CEO of WrxFlo. “We know how frustrating it is when systems don’t talk to each other and teams have to chase data. WrxFlo connects those systems, applies AI, and helps teams focus on the work that actually creates value.”

Strong Commercial Momentum and Measurable ROI

The funding follows an exceptional period of growth for the Irish tech company. WrxFlo has more than doubled its annual recurring revenue (ARR) and successfully scaled its footprint across five global markets, including Ireland, the UK, Germany, China, and the USA.

The platform is delivering highly tangible operational improvements for its international clients:

Capitalizing on the $996 Billion Smart Manufacturing Boom

WrxFlo's expansion lands at a perfect macro-economic intersection: the massive push to digitalize industrial supply chains and the practical deployment of AI in everyday operations. According to data from Markets and Markets, the global smart manufacturing sector is projected to surge to US$996 billion by 2030.

Investors note that the leadership team’s direct domain expertise gives WrxFlo a distinct competitive edge in capturing this massive addressable market.

“The WrxFlo team brings rare, genuine operational experience together with a powerful, flexible platform,” says Niall McEvoy, Head of Venture at Elkstone. “We believe WrxFlo is poised to become a category-defining company in AI-enabled operations software.”

Richard Watson, Managing Partner at Furthr VC, echoed the sentiment, noting that following on from their initial 2022 investment was an easy decision. "WrxFlo has the team, the product, and the market timing to be a leader in this space," Watson added.

The Bottom Line

As global manufacturers face compounding pressure to maximize efficiency with fewer resources, WrxFlo is proving that practical AI implementation—rooted in deep manufacturing experience—is the key to unlocking hidden factory capacity and driving massive cost reductions. With €3 million in fresh capital, the Limerick-born startup is well on its way to becoming a dominant force in the global industrial tech landscape.
